The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Good numbers of Med Gull mostly adult along West Beach, in the region of 75+ with several Sandwich. 3 adult Ringed Plover, 2w Oystercatcher, and 3 Little Egret. A flock of 50 Linnet feeding amongst the veg shingle, with good numbers of Meadow Pipit present, a single Kestrel and 25 Swift feeding over the back fields north of the golf course.
