At Marsh Farm this morning the only bird of note was a Hobby flying west.

West Beach this morning 12 Barnacle Geese flew west at 08:25, with the usual selection of Warblers around the golf course. (ES)

Very little happening in the patch this morning although plenty of Linnet and Goldfinch around the golf course.

Little Owl

Another hopeful attempt at a seawatch with c.100 Commic Tern east, several Gannet, Sandwich Tern and Cormorant moving offshore'7 Sanderling, 4 Ringed Plover east and 3 Oystercatcher west. A juv looking Med Gull, 14 Swallow through and at least 10 Great-crested Grebe on the sea. 

Very slow off Climping this morning with just a couple of Great Skua 1 east and 1 on the sea, c.50 Gannet east and 10 west, a dozen Bar-tailed Godwit east along with 3 Whimbrel and 5 Sanderling. Also 3 Great-crested Grebe on sea and 11 Swallow through.

An afternoon seawatch at Climping Beach from 15:00 produced 3 Manx Shearwater west,  Great Skua 2e 1w, 5e Common Scoter, 3w Dunlin and singles of Razorbill east Whimbrel west and 2 Great-crested Grebe on sea. Good numbers of Gannet east and several Sandwich Tern offshore, with 5 Swift in off the sea.

Records for the 7th May from (MD) a couple of hours sea watching from 1.30 to 2.30, and 3.30 to 4.30. Very quiet.
