An mid afternoon look for the Yellow-browed Warbler in first wood proved fruitless, but a Woodlark calling flying over the golf course was some consolation.

A typical Autumn morning resulted in a Yellow-browed Warbler seen late morning in First Wood, just off Rope Walk. Initially seen well but becoming elusive.
