Did a walk from Arundel to Littlehampton y'day afternoon. The Ford south section had no waders apart from a pair of Oystercatchers, but 8 Little Egrets. Also two calling Cetti's Warblers, which I don't recall hearing on this stretch before, and a Lesser Whitethroat. Otherwise usual fare. Environment Agency were looking at oil coming into the river from the drain by the prison, which wasn't good. (MD)

Scant return this morning with very little on offer, with 2 Grey Partridge and a Coot on the golf course, 3 Swallow also through there. A couple of Wheatear on West Beach, with small numbers of singing Blackcap, Chiffchaff and a Cetti's Warbler in and around the woods.
