The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. (Please email your sighting's to lobas@btinternet.com or Tweet to @BirdsofClimping).

Did
a walk from Arundel to Littlehampton y'day afternoon. The Ford south section
had no waders apart from a pair of Oystercatchers, but 8 Little Egrets. Also
two calling Cetti's Warblers, which I don't recall hearing on this stretch
before, and a Lesser Whitethroat. Otherwise usual fare. Environment Agency were
looking at oil coming into the river from the drain by the prison, which wasn't
good. (MD)
