Fewer numbers than of late but still good numbers of both Yellow Wagtail and Med Gull still in the area,  and good numbers of Sandwich Tern offshore. 2 Spot Fly around Bailiffscourt, 14 Whitethroat, 3 Chiffchaff, a single  Lesser Whitethroat, and 3 Wheatear around the bushes. Also 2 Buzzard and 3 Kestrel. (ES)

Continued noticeable absence of hirundines with only 1 Swallow seen.(RG)

Good variety in the patch this morning with a Pied Fly at 1st wood, Wheatear present in good numbers on the golf course and west beach. A Redstart present at the bottom of longwood and the 1st Grey Wagtails of the autumn over the golf course.

First visit to the patch for a while and found good numbers of Willow Warbler in evidence around Kents Cottages, also plenty of Med Gull in the pea field opposite bread lane.

Ventured over to Pagham Harbour and found the Squacco Heron showing really well, aslo 2 Cattle Egret 3 Whimbrel and a couple of Wheatear.


Mid afternoon stroll up at Patching Hill Reservoir, produced singes of Redstart, Garden Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, several Common Whitethroat and 3 Buzzard.
