An hour sea watch from 12-20 produced a Red-throated Diver on the sea, 1E Guillemot, 3E Razorbill, 5W Brent Geese, 1W Sandwich Tern, 25E Med Gull, and several Gannets feeding offshore.

 A flock of c35 Barnacle Geese flew west at Climping Beach this morning, also a Short-eared Owl in off the sea. (RG)

Late afternoon stroll in the sun and calm condidtions with 8 Stonechat, 1 Wheatear, 3 Reed Bunting, 30 Linnet, 8 Skylark, 1 Grey Heron, 4 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, c50 Med Gull.

A rare sight indeed with a day time Barn Owl showing in the paddock sitting amongst the hawthorn, with one recently found dead in the area hopefully this one will survive. A Merlin flashed west along the beach and a Redwing at the camp site.
