The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Out on the bicycle this afternoon and the highlight was a Red Kite over fields north of Poling, plenty of birds on the downs north of Patching with evidence of breeding Lesser Whitethroat, Bullfinch, Mistle Thush, several Yellowhammer, Linnets, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, 3 Kestrel, 2 Buzzard, and several of both Swallows and Swifts drifting eastward.
