Out  on the bicycle this afternoon and the highlight was a Red Kite over fields north of Poling, plenty of birds on the downs north of Patching with evidence of breeding Lesser Whitethroat, Bullfinch, Mistle Thush, several Yellowhammer, Linnets, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, 3 Kestrel, 2 Buzzard, and several of both  Swallows and Swifts drifting eastward.
