The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Another cycle ride around Angmering Park estate entering from Crossbush and exiting from Long Furlong, produced singles of Hobby, Red Kite, and Sparrowhawk, 2 Raven around Kithurst Hill car park, several Buzzards and 3 Kestrel. 7 Corn Bunting singing around the gallops, with several of Yellowhammer, Skylark, Whitethroat, and Linnet. Small parties of Sand Martin moving west as well as greater numbers of Swifts and Swallows. 3 Song Thush, 2 Jay a couple of Blackcaps and my first Willow Warbler of the year at Long Furlong north of Patching Pond.
