Up to 660 Brent Geese. Counted 390 in the field west of Climping Gap at 12.00, but had had 270 flying strongly east in three groups earlier. May have doubled back of course.

My first Wheatear of the spring at West Beach this morning, a brisk easterly wind and grey conditions didn't inspire a prolonged visit.
