The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Hundreds of Swifts on the move west over Bailiffscourt this morning from 07:00, c.600+ being a conservative total, also small numbers of Swallow and a couple of House Martin present. Offshore with most birds moving west, singles of Fulmar, Curlew, 5 Commic Tern, small numbers of Gannet and Sandwich Tern. 3 Ringed Plover on the beach, 2 Little Egret, 4 Stock Dove and 3 Buzzard.
