Disappointing for passerines on a walk from Ship & Anchor to LA Marina, but unusually two Shelduck juveniles were in the gull loaf between Ford and the prison bend. The gull roost had 62 Med Gulls as well as 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 636 Black-headed Gull and 384 Herring Gulls. Also 7 Common Sandpipers, 1 Curlew, 7 Little Egrets and 3 Kingfishers. MD

An interesting report from Climping of a smallish Harrier seen flying east at about 10:00am over Bread Lane this morning. Other than that just the norm reported.
