The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Yet another uneventful morning in the patch, glorious sunshine with a biting wind. 2 Coal Tit, 4 Bullfinch, 2 Goldcrest, 2 Jay, Great-spotted Woodpecker and a Kestrel around Bailiffscourt. 2 Stonechat Atherington horse field. Small numbers of Meadow Pipit and Skylark in the fields. Offshore, 3 Great-crested Grebe, 8 Brent Geese flew west, 20 Med Gull, small numbers of Sanderling, Oystercacher, Turnstone and Grey Plover on the outward tide.
