The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Out before the rain with 25 Med Gull in the fields with 44 Grey Plover at the back of longwood, 2 Stonechat, 2 Goldcrest, 6 Song Thrush, 10 Pied Wagtail in the horse fields, also Skylark and Meadow Pipit present, and a single male Sparrowhawk. No actual count but good numbers of Red-breasted Merganser offshore.
