Not much to report for Wed 3rd just 2w Canada Geese and 6 Whimbrel the only birds of note.

I recieved a late report for the 2nd of May of a  Wood Sandpiper in the area.

Did a late morning walk from the car park at Climping along West Beach primarily for the benefit of the dog, but just in the area near the car park and pools put up a Wood Sandpiper – presumably just arrived and resting up ahead of flying on. Pretty good record for a late morning dog walk. Not much else apart from a few Sandwich Terns, very distant Gannets and about six Whimbrel – one on the beach, four on GC and one on the mud by the path north of the Yacht Club just before Rope Walk.
