Whimbrel on the golf course

A quick stroll around Marsh Farm this afternoon produced 2 Cuckoo, 4 Lapwing, 3 Buzzard, 11 Med Gull, 3 Cetti's Warbler and a Wheatear, as well as the usual array of Warblers.

Records for Monday 1st May sea watch at Climping beach produced no Poms for me but some splendid close inshore Artic Skua action with 7e and 2e 1w Great Skua.  Just 6e Eider and a couple of Shelduck before I called a halt to proceedings.
