The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. The Kumliens, Glaucous and 2 Little Gull still present from the river mouth today, also c40 Med Gull offshore along with several Red-breasted Merganser moving. 9w Common Scoter, 38e 2w Brent Geese, 1 Guillemot close inshore, c200 Turnstone on the break water and a fem Stonechat west beach. Reports today of 2 Dead Puffins and 4 Razorbill being washed up in the last few days.
