The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. 13 Red B Mergansers offshore this morning but other than that the sea was dead. 1 Redshank on the beach with several Turnstones, 2 Jack Snipe out of the setaside this morning along with a Common Snipe. 1 Mediteranean Gull, flying over bread lane and 3 Grey Plover in the field. The best of the rest being 1 Great S Wood, 15 Meadow Pipit, 1 Treecreeper and a Firecrest.
