Climping/Atherington: Things started very slowly at Bailiffscourt, but gradually picked up around the Bread Lane/paddocks and set-aside areas, where a selection of migrants was present. (OM)

Late afternoon visit found 5-6 Wheater in the overflow car park Climping Beach, 1 Whinchat in the setaside opposite the old horse paddock and several Whitethroat. 7 Little Egret along the shore line with 40 Med Gull, a couple of Ringed Plover, Turnstone and Oystercatcher, singles of Yellowhammer, Buzzard, and 15 Swallow moving west.

A total of 27 Willow Warbler seen around west beach, camp site and the horse paddock, with a Lesser Whitethroat at the latter site. 2 Bullfinch longwood and 12 Sand Martin, 50 Swallow and a single House Martin moving mainly west.

 A midday visit to the patch found 2 Whinchat in  the wheat field north of Kents Cottages, a Garden Warbler top of Longwood with a calling Bullfinch and 7 Willow Warbler in the area.
