Elmer Rocks – Poole Place: I sea-watched for a couple of hours (from 08:10hrs) and the first hour or so proved to be interesting, with some passage at last and my first Bonxie and Yellow Wagtail of the year, before it slowed right down as the cloud lifted. A search for passerines produced 3 Wheatears near Poole Place but not too much else. (OM)

At high tide, waders roosting on the rock islands were Oystercatcher - 17, Turnstone – 45 and Sanderling – 25.
