Several Egyptian Geese, Gadwall & Tufted Duck at Marsh Farm this afternoon

 A short visit to Atherington found the sea very quiet with just a couple of Mergansers offshore, the best bird of the morning being a cronking Raven flying east. c70 Linnet chattering away around the setaside also 2 Jay, 2 Buzzard, 2 Green Woodpecker, 2 Great-spotted Woodpecker, 4 Greenfinch and 4 Goldcrest in the area.  A bright cold morning found 10 Redwing in a field adjacent to Bailiffscourt, also Dartford Warbler, 2 Stonechat, 30 Skylark, 80 Linnet and 2 Mistle Thrush in the area.

 A Single Dartford Warbler in the set aside not seen for a while, plus 4 Snipe, 40 Skylark and 2 Stonechat, being the only birds of note.(RG)
