For info, there was a cracking male Whinchat this morning (pic) at hotspot corner not too far west of Poole Place.

A Wheatear was around Poole Place, whilst another 4 Wheatears together were on the concrete road behind Poole Place (where Baird had put the logs and rocks on the field edges.

Didn’t really watch the sea.... 10 sandwich and 4 GCG’s offshore. Walked to Atherington/Bread lane – just a few Blackcaps, Chiffs and Whitethroats but nothing of any note, surprisingly. (OM)
