Again good numbers of finches moving east, including at least 31 Crossbill (6,17,1,2,5). Also of note a large number of Swallow and House Martin, and a single Ring Ouzel. (RG)

Elmer Rocks & fields There wasn’t much happening offshore and all I logged was 13 Brent heading W and 3 Great Crested Grebes. The field margins were similarly quiet with just half a dozen Chiffchaffs and a Goldcrest for my efforts.
