The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. An unimpressive morning with a Firecrest being the only bird of note. Double figures of Chiffchaff, Meadow Pipit, Pied Wagtail and Skylark, Cetti's Warbler and Water Rail heard only from the reedbed. Peregrine present from the tower with Buzzard and Kestrel observed. Offshore again very quiet with 10 Red-breasted Merganser, 3 Great-crested Grebe and 3 Gannet moving east. 20 Sanderling and 50 Turnstone on the shoreline.
