The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. A Kingfisher and Common Sandpiper along the River by the Marina this morning. Good numbers of Chiifchaff still in the patch with at least 35 recorded and smaller numbers of Blackcap. Singles of Stonechat, Spot Fly, Wheatear and Sparrowhawk, scattered groups of Meadow Pipit as well as 16 House Martin through. A few waders on the beach including Sanderling, Ringed Plover and Turnstone. (ES)
