Just a couple of hours around the patch this morning with a surprise Cuckoo calling flying west over Atherington. Hundreds of large Gulls present on the flat calm sea with at least 20 Gannet. The big surprise was a pod of Dolphins jumping around a small fishing boat that kept circling enjoying the spectical. They stayed in the area for at least 40 minutes before drifting off slowly east. Also 17 Common Scooter east, a few Sandwich Tern and 3 Great-crested Grebe on the sea. 3e 4w Dunlin, 2 Oystercatcher west, 2 House Martin, 2 Swift and 9 Swallow.  A Spotted Flycatcher around the Mill seen by (ES).
