Another visit to the patch this evening couldn't resist this  Convolvulus hawk-moth



Two visits to the patch today, before and after the rain, the latter visit being more productive with good numbers of hirundine on the move, and good numbers of both Yellow Wagtail and Med Gull in the fields north of Climping Beach. The old camp produced 3 Redstart and Spot Fly feeding along the rife.

A Red Underwing found this morning before the rain(RP) and a Convolvulos Hawkmoth also found in the dunes. (RK)


Hello Bo, I am down for a week and was at the patch this morning. Very quiet West Beach but lively at old Camp Site, Climping. Most interesting was a roosting Barn Owl at the back of the Golf Course in a large hawthorn.  Totals were (RG)
