The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Still very quiet in the patch today with the highlight being a Red Kite north of the golf course with at least 7 Buzzard and a Peregrine and 4 Firecrest around the bushes. Quiet offshore with 12 Mediterranean Gull, 20 Red-breasted Merganser and 13 Great-crested Grebe on the sea, 4 Sandwich Tern west and small numbers of Gannet lingering.
