The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. (Please email your sighting's to lobas@btinternet.com or Tweet to @BirdsofClimping).

Today I recived a call late morning from (OM) of a Black Guillemot seen just outside the patch at Elmer Rocks. Unfortunately the time I arrived on site the bird was drifting slowly further west and viewed from the 1st rockpile from the west. Also there today c.400 Brent Geese flew west, 1w Red-throated Diver, several of both Great-crested Grebe and Red-breasted Merganser and 30+ Sanderling along the tideline.
