The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. 2 Dartford Warbler in the Tamerisk at Climping Beach this morning 100yds west of the Car Park. Singles of Eider and Great-c- Grebe on the sea, 65w Brent Geese and plenty of Med Gull patrolling the beach, with small numbers of Sandwich Tern and Gannet also on the move. Up to 12 Stonechat, 9 Wheatear in the area and plenty of Meadow Pipit in the fields with several small flocks in off the sea.
