The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. (Please email your sighting's to lobas@btinternet.com or Tweet to @BirdsofClimping).

Bright and sunny at Climping late morning but with little evidence of any passage. An Eider offshore from the car park, was the highlight along the usual Red-breasted Merganser and Great-crested Grebe on the sea, with small numbers of both Med and Common Gull feeding in the surf. C.75 Brent Geese in Cudlow field along with 35 Curlew and 65 Grey Plover flew west. A Treecreeper and several Goldcrest around Climping Cottages.
