The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. A fine cold bright morning at the patch covering West Beach and the back of the golf course. c.200 Brent Geese in the fields west of the mill path, also 6 Grey Partridge there. Skylark present in good numbers with around c.80. 3 Stonechat, 9 Meadow Pipit, and 1 Reed Bunting around the dunes also small flocks of Goldfinch, a Kestrel and 25 Greenfinch. 5 Goldcrest and a Treecreeper in first wood.
