The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Very quiet again around the patch although 75 Mediterranean Gull in the fields north of Climping beach along with 45 Sanderling and 8 Ringed Plover. 11 Red-breasted Merganser, and 4 Great-crested Grebe offshore. Small numbers of Skylark, Meadow Pipit and Goldcrest in evidence, a single Stonechat on the golf course and 3 Buzzard in the area.
