The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. (Please email your sighting's to lobas@btinternet.com or Tweet to @BirdsofClimping).

As of yesterday really with a cold bright start lots of birds on the move early on, and then by mid morning things starting to deteriorate. Good numbers of Finches moving east along with Meadow Pipits in the fields and on the golf course, and several Goldcrests in the trees. Birds of note from today being a Short-eared Owl flushed from the dunes at West Beach, a Lesser Whitethroat and 6 Grey Partridge.
