The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Good variety in the patch this morning with 4 Whinchat in fields north of the golf course, along with 2 Redstart, 3 Spot Fly, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 6 Wheatear, 10 Blackcap, 7 Chiffchaff, 60 Linnet, c300 Meadow Pipit, nearby. Also today 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Grey Heron, c500 Swallow through this morning with small numbers of House Martin and 3e Sandwich Tern offshore.
