The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Bird of the day was a Turtle Dove, seen at the back of the golf course and then flew west, also 1 Spot Fly and 1 Whinchat there. Good numbers of Blackcap and Chiffchaff seen in the bushes around the patch, also 4 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Wheatear, 2 Siskin, 3 Yellow Wagtail 1 Grey Wagtail, 4 Stonechat, 2 Peregrine, 2 Sparrowhawk, and c100 Meadow Pipit. Offshore 41w Wigeon, 28w Brent Geese, 3 Bar-tailed Godwit with 15 Grey Plover, 3 Little Egret, 3e Sandwich Tern and 1w Med Gull.
