The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. No sign of the possible SYKES'S this morning and through the night after several pictures scrutinised, most observers seem to think the bird was a BOOTED WARBLER either way a new bird for the patch.
Brief look in first and longwood produced, 1 Pied Flycatcher, 4 Redstart, 3 Willow Warbler, 4 Spotted Flycatcher, and a Little-ringed Plover amongst the the various waders on the beach, and a brief view obtained of a possible WRYNECK on the west end of golf course footpath.
