The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Combined totals for today include 5 Whinchat in the area, 1 Spotted Flycatcher in Bailiffscourt, 14 Wheatear, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 30 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Blackcap, 15 Willow Warbler, 17 Whitethroat, 1 Sparrowhawk, large number of mixed flock of mainly House Martins moving east, 6 Little Egret, 40 Med Gull, 8w Teal 10w Common Tern, and 29w 5e Gannet.
