The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. A Very gloomy day at the patch mid morning and very queit offshore with only 6w Red-Breasted Mergansers moving. 47 Brent Geese in the fields, 54 Cormorant on the river mouth, 5 Dunlin in amongst the 90 Sanderling at West Beach. Singles of Firecrest and Swallow at the mill, 2 Redwing Atherington. The best of the rest being 1 Little Egret, 6 Goldcrest, 1 Bullfinch, 1 Sparrowhawk, and 2 Grey Partridge.
