The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. 1 RED BREASTED FLYCATCHER at Climping beach this morning seen from the car park with the local tit flock, and then again from the footpath that runs between the Atherington Pools upto the sea front. Also today singles of Sparrowhawk, Buzzard, Firecrest, Garden Warbler, and Wheatear. 2 Stonechat, 20 Chiffchaff, 25 Blackacap, 4 Redpoll, 60 Siskin, 20 Pied Wagatil, and 45 Goldfinch. Offshore 5w Gannet, 1 Great-crested Grebe and several Med Gull.
