The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex.
This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area
by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades.

Climping late morning produced 1 Short-eared Owl seen on the beach and fence post for twenty minutes, 2-3 Wheatear on the beach, 30+ Gannet following a pair of trawlers east, 4 Great-crested Grebe offshore and 7w Sandwich Tern.
