The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. In the patch today in glorious weather, produced some good numbers of the common migrants and some oddities in the form of geese. 15 Chiffchaff, 5 Blackcap, 4 Wheatear, 4 Reed Bunting, 2 Peregrine, 2 Buzzards, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret,5 Curlew, 3 Greylag Geese, 3 Canada Geese, 30e Greenfinch, 30 Linnet, 1 Sparrowhawk and a large flock of Wood Pigeon c250. Offshore 4 Mediterranean Gull,7 Great-crested Grebe and 6 Red-breasted Mergs.
