Very quiet at Climping Beach this morning with only 3 Common Scoter offshore, with several Red-breasted Mergansers and Great-crested Grebe, 1 Shelduck, and 1 Lapwing in the horse paddock.

A quick stroll around Marsh Farm late morning paid dividends in the shape of 3 GOOSANDER flying east over the little pool at 10:30. The redhead SMEW still on the main pool wiyth no other duck present. 1 Kingfisher, 6 Teal flushed from the ditches, 1 Buzzard, 15 Redwing and 1 Grey Heron, 2 Goldcrest and several Yellowhammer made a very interesting hours birding.
