The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Had a stroll around the Black Ditch area again mid morning and was rewarded with 2 Jack Snipe from the flooded fields west of the Bodyshop, also 4 Snipe. Good numbers of thrushes in the area with 100 Fieldfare 27 Redwing 4 Mistle Thrush and several Song Thrush. 1 male Bullfinch 1 Grey Heron, 3 Chiffchaff 6 Goldcrest and 2 Buuzzard was the best of the rest.
