The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Alive with birds at Climping in the rain this morning with a steady stream of hirundine moving east. Highlights being 1 Hobby west, 1 Pied Flycatcher, 2 Tree Pipits, 4 Spotted Flycatchers, 5 Whinchat, 2 Redstart, 1 Lesser Whitetroat, 100+ Yellow Wagtail, 8 Grey Partridge, 10 Willow Warbler, 15 Wheatear, good numbers of both Blackcap and Whitethroat. Noted about 8E Sandwich Tern and a Little Egret on the beach.
