The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. HOOPOE which flushed from near the bungalows, settled briefly for a record shot, then flew towards the horse paddock and out of sight. Also in the area, Redstart - 9, Yellow Wagtail - 80W, Chiffchaff - 12, Willow Warbler - 45, Reed Warbler - 6, Sedge Warbler - 2, Lesser Whitethroat - 7, Whitethroat - 25, Wheatear - 24, Blackcap - 10, Garden Warbler - 4, Tree Pipit - 2, Grey Wagtail - 3 and Sand Martin - 70.
