The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. A Raven seen calling over Baliffscourt this morning being mobbed by gulls was a good record for the patch, also Med Gull – 2 E, R/b Merganser – 5 offshore, Great Crested Grebe – 7 offshore, Sandwich Tern – 4 E, Whimbrel – 1 E, Gannet – 2 E & 5 W, Shelduck – 2 W, Swallow – 3 N, Common Whitethroat – 1 (Golf course) Chiffchaff – 5, Blackcap – 5.
