The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. (Please email your sighting's to lobas@btinternet.com or Tweet to @BirdsofClimping).

Sea very slow this morning with only a couple of Fulmars heading west and 6 Brent Geese sitting on the sea, also several of both Red B Mergansers and Great C Grebe. But the highlight of the morning being a flock of 8 Garganey and 2 Teal being spooked by a Peregrine, they briefly settled on the sea before moving off east. Supporting cast included 25 Sanderling, 1 Little Egret, 1 Curlew, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Firecrest, 1 Mediterranean Gull, 1 Grey Partridge and 1 Reed Bunting.
