The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Horrible grey day but yet a few migrants about, winds also looked favourable but didn't produce the birds. 7 Wheatears, 5 Chiffchaff, 3 Firecrest, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Lapwing, 1w Gannet, 1e Sandwich Tern, 2e Shelduck, 18e Brent Geese several Curlew still in Cudlow Field, and plenty of Red B Mergansers offshore.
