The Climping Gap remains one of the last undeveloped sites along the coast in West Sussex. This site is dedicated to Birds seen in and around the Climping Gap area by myself and a few die hard friends, that live in the area and have been birding the local patch for decades. Late morning at Climping in a cold north westerly wind suprised to find hundreds and hundreds of Auks moving west. Some of the closer birds were Razorbill but most were to distant. 50w Gannet, several Diver sp moving along with good numbers of Red B Mergansers, and 12 Great C Grebe offshore. 1 Firecrest still at Atherington, 2 Buzzards, 1 Jack Snipe, 5 Grey Partridge and a Stonechat, made up the day count.
